2016 Statutory Inspection of Anglican & Methodist Schools

King's School was inspected by the Southwark Diocesan Board of Education under the Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) in September 2016 while still known as The Queen's Church of England School.

We were inspected on four aspects of church school life: The Christian Distinctiveness and Character of the School, the quality of RE teaching and Collective Worship and the Leadership and Management of the school. We are delighted that we were outstanding in all four areas therefore we are outstanding overall. This is progress from the last inspection when we were good in two of the areas however outstanding overall.
